Are you seeking to reduce or eliminate your need for glasses or contacts? If you’ve answered yes, then consider yourself a candidate for LASIK surgery. Here at Kresloff Eye Associates, we offer both LASIK and iLASIK surgery as well as implantable contact lenses. At your consultation, our doctors will help you determine which procedure best suits your lifestyle!

If you are interested in LASIK, Consider the following to determine if you are a good candidate:

Age: Patients must be 21 years or older in order to undergo surgery.

General Health: Patients must be in good health to receive LASIK surgery. Individuals with diabetes, vascular disease, and any autoimmune disease such as rheumatoid arthritis should not consider the procedure.

Pregnancy: Patients should not consider LASIK at the time of pregnancy and during nursing.

Eye Conditions: Patients with certain underlying eye conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts are not candidates. The doctors at Kresloff Eye Associates will thoroughly screen your eyes for underlying conditions that would preclude you from being a candidate.

Current Vision: Patients refractions must be stable.
