Lisa Boyko, Optical Manager at Kresloff Eye Associates

Lisa Boyko

Optical Manager · ABO & NCLE Certified

Lisa Boyko is the Optical Manager at Kresloff Eye Associates and brings more than 39 years of experience in the optical industry. She holds a degree in Ophthalmic Science, a New Jersey Ophthalmic Dispenser’s License, and is both ABO and NCLE certified, with additional expertise as a transition lens specialist.

Her passion for eyewear began early in life while working in an optical office during her first year of college. Fascinated by the craftsmanship and precision involved in creating a single pair of glasses, she quickly discovered her true calling and dedicated herself to learning every aspect of the profession, from patient care to lens fabrication and frame styling.

For the past 24 years, Lisa has proudly cared for the patients of Kresloff Eye Associates, where she is known for her warm personality, attention to detail, and commitment to helping every patient feel confident in their eyewear. One of the most rewarding parts of her career has been building lasting relationships with generations of families and watching children grow up through the years.

Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys gardening, raising butterflies, bird watching, and hiking. She also loves hosting the practice’s monthly trunk shows, especially events featuring Poets Eyewear, whose nature-inspired collections reflect her love of the outdoors through unique designs featuring feathers, florals, silks, moss, and other organic elements.

Lisa looks forward to continuing to share her passion for eyewear and helping patients find frames that perfectly combine comfort, function, and personal style.

Valerie, Optician at Kresloff Eye Associates

Valerie

Optician · Licensed in Massachusetts

Valerie has been working in the optical field since 2009 and brings both extensive experience and a genuine passion for patient care to her role at Kresloff Eye Associates. She began her career in Massachusetts, where she became a Licensed Dispensing Optician, and is currently pursuing licensure in New Jersey while continuing to expand her education and expertise. In addition to her optical background, Valerie also holds a BA in Writing and a BS in Computer Science, reflecting both her creativity and analytical approach to problem-solving.

Valerie enjoys helping patients navigate the process of selecting eyewear that fits not only their prescription needs, but also their lifestyle and personal style. She believes every patient deserves individualized attention because no two visual needs are exactly alike. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is educating patients about how their lenses function and helping them better understand the technology behind their vision correction. She finds it especially fulfilling to help someone discover lenses and frames they truly love wearing every day.

She has a particular appreciation for Silhouette eyewear, especially for the brand’s lightweight comfort, durability, flexibility, and wide variety of color options. Valerie admires the balance of engineering and design that allows the frames to feel both elegant and exceptionally comfortable.

Outside of the office, Valerie enjoys writing, reading, visiting museums, and creative hobbies such as knitting and quilting. Her thoughtful personality, attention to detail, and passion for helping others make her a valued part of the patient experience at Kresloff Eye Associates.

Joseph

Optician · 20+ Years of Experience

Joe has been working in the optical field for more than 20 years and brings a deep passion for both eyewear and patient care to every interaction. He especially enjoys helping patients find frames that not only look great, but also provide the best possible vision through today’s most advanced lens technologies and products. His approach combines technical knowledge with a genuine appreciation for personal style, ensuring each patient leaves feeling confident and comfortable in their eyewear.

Joe has a particular appreciation for LaFont eyewear for ladies and J.F. Rey frames for gentlemen, drawn to their bold geometric designs, craftsmanship, and distinctive use of color. He enjoys helping patients discover frames that reflect their personality while maintaining exceptional comfort and function.

Committed to continued growth in the profession, Joe is currently enrolled in the Ophthalmic Science Program at Camden County College, where he is further expanding his expertise in optical care and vision technology.

Outside of the office, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and exploring nature. He values the relationships he builds with patients and looks forward to helping each person achieve their best vision while finding eyewear that truly fits their lifestyle and individuality.

Jenn’s passion for optical care has been lifelong. Raised in a family deeply rooted in the industry, she grew up immersed in the world of eyewear and patient care, spending summers in her uncle’s optical shops and learning firsthand the artistry, precision, and dedication behind the profession. What began as early exposure quickly became a true calling.

Today, Jenn combines that lifelong experience with formal education and is currently on track to become fully licensed this year. She is deeply committed to continuing her growth in the field, not only in technical knowledge, but in the level of care and experience she provides to every patient.

For Jenn, opticianry is about far more than vision correction. It is about confidence, self-expression, and transformation. She believes the right pair of glasses can change how someone sees themselves and how they move through the world. Her approach centers on understanding each patient as an individual, taking the time to learn not only their prescription needs, but also their lifestyle, personality, and personal style.

Jenn is especially inspired by LaFont eyewear for its effortless blend of artistry and sophistication. She appreciates the brand’s Parisian-inspired design, rich color palettes, and refined details that create frames that feel expressive yet timeless, enhancing a person’s individuality without overwhelming it.

Andy has been part of the optical industry since 1999 and has spent more than two decades dedicated to the craftsmanship and precision behind quality eyewear. As a valued member of the laboratory team at Kresloff Eye Associates, he plays an essential role in ensuring every pair of glasses is produced with accuracy, care, and attention to detail. His extensive experience and technical knowledge help provide patients with eyewear that delivers both exceptional vision and long-lasting comfort.

Andy especially enjoys the hands-on nature of laboratory work and takes pride in the detailed process of lens edging, mounting, adjustments, and troubleshooting. He understands that even the smallest refinements can make a significant difference in how patients see and feel in their glasses. His commitment to quality and consistency helps ensure that every finished product meets the highest standards before reaching the patient.

Throughout his career, Andy has developed a strong appreciation for the precision and innovation involved in modern optical technology. He enjoys working behind the scenes to help create eyewear that improves patients’ daily lives and values being part of a team dedicated to personalized care and exceptional service.

Outside of work, Andy loves spending time with family and friends, fishing, and following sports, especially cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. “Go Birds” is never far from conversation during football season. He takes great pride in the work he does and in helping provide patients with eyewear they can depend on every day.
